Extrication training

We were training on extrication after creating a purchase point and opening up the rear passenger side door on a 4 door sedan I attempted to use the cutters to remove the nadir pin from the b post and noted there were 7 hornets in a nest. I had re positioned and attempted to cut again my left hand got caught between the cutter throttle and the frame pinching my left hand. I turned off the battery to stop the continuation of the cutters. Was able to remove my hand. Contusion to the ring finger knuckle only. Ice pack placed for 20 minutes no change in sensation or movement. Able to grip. All protective gear used extrication gloves eye protection helmet and Full firefighter PPE

Left hand ring finger middle finger and pinky finger up to the knuckles bruising only no swelling
