Setting pipe on end in parts tote and checking for burrs while working on Line D231.

Team member had just removed pipe from the flare machine in cell D231. To check the pipe for burrs the team member went to set the pipe on end in the finished parts tote. When the pipe came down on other parts in the tote it bounced back up striking the team member on the right side of their face along their jawline.

Impact resulted in a laceration that required 10 stitches to close. The team member returned to work without lost time or restriction.
