Cutting angled steel on a horizontal band saw.

Employee got down to the last cut in the stick and flipped the stick around to be cut the opposite direction. Leading to insufficient amount of material to be in the vice that holds the material in place during a cut. The material began shifting once the blade starting cutting and the employee got his left index fingertip caught between the peak of the angled steel and the material guide fence.
