What happened
The employee was stacking and evening out metal panels as they exited the slitter machine. As the panels exited the machine the employee was placing the panels into a basket that was placed on two sawhorses. The sawhorses were not lined up evenly. The weight of the panels in the front of the basket caused the basket to tilt forward. Fearing the basket would land on his leg or foot the employee grabbed the basket. The weight of the basket was too much and the employee injured his lower back.
