EE was pulling kiln cars out of the kiln (kiln shut down) and as he was walking to hook up a cable to the kiln car he fell in to the undercar cooling duct that runs under the kiln floor (4 'x3 ' 4 ' deep). EE 's right side of ribcage scraped the concrete edge as he fell into the hole.
