Handling annealed lite to transport to glass dumpster
What happened
On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] At the unload end of the coater an employee was on the line off loading tempered cut sizes. There was a size change signified by an annealed lite. As the annealed lite approached the end of the moving conveyor the employee grabbed the annealed lite from the center lifting it up to toss it in the glass dumpster. Once he reached midair the glass broke slicing his index finger as the broken portion fell.
