The sensor controls the up and down to the stop gate for the foam pieces. While cleaning the sensor triggered the gate. The EEs hand got stuck between the bottom of the stop plate and the cross plate that holds the cylinder in place. Another operator pulled the estop and turned the machine off in order to get the machine to release her hand from inside of the machine. The injured EE was given bag of ice in order to reduce her swelling then taken to the ER for evaluation. ROOT CAUSEThis line was new to the facility.
