Before the incident
Employee was rolling maneuvering a 12ft piece of 3 1 4 bar stock off of forklift forks onto a storage rack so he could reposition the forklift and pickup the piece of bar stock more evenly and secure for transporting
What happened
When the employee rolled the bar stock off of the forklift forks with his hands it crushed his left middle and ring fingers between the bar tock and storage rack.
