Moving patient

DIctating from phone call with employees manager. Manager received a call morning of [REDACTED] from this employee 's spouse stating patient awoke with inability to move legs and was at Hartford Hospital ER. Upon further discussion later that day determined the injury may have been work related. On the prior day [REDACTED] he was at work caring for pt in 312 cerebral palsy intubated moving (movement unknown at this time) the patient with approximately 3 other team members (PCA 2 RNs). After the move employee stated experienced pain. Employee states took tylenol motrin. Proceeded to do 3 additional diaper changes throughout the night. Awoke the [REDACTED] as stated. As of morning of [REDACTED] manager received text updates from injured employee that he had a CT & MRI at [REDACTED] andwas admitted to [REDACTED] 9 25. The current diagnosis is stated to bea herniated disc and may need surgical intervention. Manager informed Workplace Safety and leadership on Triple L.
