What happened
While walking into the elevator area I slipped and then tripped over my feet and fell onto the floor onto my left side. When falling this caused the forceps that were attached to my pants pocket to impale into my right hip causing a puncture wound. I am sure that there will be contusions involved with this fall also. I was talking to my son on the phone because he had gotten stung by a bee and was worried about having a reaction so I was not paying attention to where I was walking. I am not sure if there was wetness on the ground but I believe I slipped on something which caused me to lose my balance. This occurred on the second floor right near the time clock near the elevators.
