On [REDACTED] I was working and noticed that the outside company that cleans the floors were beginning to clean the floors in C pod where all of my patient were. The worker asked me for two towels and I gave them to him and asked him if there were chemicals being used because I get very sick he assured me it was just soap and water. I started to experiance some chest tightness related to my asthma and decided to relocate to B pod and get away from the fumes at which I let team lead and resource nurse know that they were cleaning but said it was only soap and water. Team lead followed up with the workers and was told it was also only soap and water. The fumes were so strong I could smell them in B pod. I began to experiance a significant asthma attack and had to administer several nebulizers to myself before I was ultimaly rapid responsed and sent to the ED for evaluation where I did require extensive treatment in order to stabalize and return to my baseline. I required a total of 6 neb
