What happened
Officers were standing by for staff safety. The patient in the room became agitated and then charged towards me and additional officers. The patient continued fighting with officers. During the incident the left side of my head around the ear area was struck. This resulted in pain and redness of the area. I was seen and treated in the Emergency Department following the incident.
