Employee was coming up the Portside stair case from the pontoon. Once he made it to the top he lost his footing and fell. Employee claimed that he had fell down the stairs but after acquiring the witness statements its been determined that the employee never in fact fell down stairs he only landed on the floor with a leg on the steps but never went down them. Also once it happened the employee continued working going back down the stairs. when the employees supervisor showed up to check on employees under his lead the employee told him that his leg was a little sore and that he wanted to just go home and allow it to rest. Employee then went back up the steps as he normally would have and continued down off the vessel. His supervisor brought him over to HSE to inform him of the incident to which employee stated that he was okay but just wanted to go home to let it rest. Employee refused medical at that time and was taken to the gate where he walked normally to his car. Shortly a few min
