Material handling

EE was obtaining a main tube for an angle broom. He was using a magnet to get the part when he lifted the tube the weight shifted causing the tube to push his hand into another tube cutting the knuckle of his middle finger on his left hand. EE was brought into the first aid room to have the wound cleaned and bandaged. It was then noticed that he should be brought into the ER and have stitches. Employee returned to work after that and performed his duties to finish out the shift. Note did state that he can return with no restrictions. EE was not wearing gloves when this occurred.
