Team member was performing planned maintenance on an exhaust fan belt. During the planned maintenance process the associate was inspecting the sheave by pulling the belt towards themselves as the belt rolled the glove being worn caught between the pulley and the belt causing their left hand to be pulled into the pinch point. The equipment was shut down and locked out (Mode 3) during the inspection. The ring finger sustained a laceration that required stitches for treatment.
