What happened
An operator was troubleshooting die leaking material. While using a pneumatic drill with the right hand to remove the bolts the die came loose and unexpectedly dropped. The weight of the die combined with force of its motion caused the operator to sustain a laceration to left pinky finger requiring 9 stitches as well as a fracture.
