Loading parts into the testing machine in order to test them.

A woman worker who is a TEMP smashed her right thumb in the Tester Door. Looks like it dislodged the nail at the cuticle. It bled but the bleeding was pretty well controlled with a dressing and roller bandage. We then applied an ice pack and will refer her to a doctor. Could lose the fingernail.

X-ray showed one of the small bones in her right thumb was fractured so they put a splint on it. No stitches were needed.

A folding door on the testing machine caught her thumb as she was closing the door to the testing machine.
