Reaching over and behind guard at edge trim table entry side with needle nose pliers.

What happened

At approx. [REDACTED] Employee retrieved a set of long needle nose pliers at the Mill 2 edge trim table with their right hand employee stepped up onto a small step then proceeded to reach over and behind the guarding to access the entry rollers in front of the edge trim table. The employees ' right hand along with the needle nose pliers were pulled into the entry roller employee hit the emergency stop plate with their left hand shutting the mill down. Employee yelled out getting the mill operators attention. The Mill operator went to the employee with the employee saying their hand was stuck. Mill operator went back to the mill control panel resetting the mill and placed mill in reverse to jog the mill backwards. As the mill operator jogged the mill in reverse the employee was able to free their own hand. Once free the employee was assisted by two other employees and taken to the production office.
