Before the incident
Disconnected primary line from IV and hung line up by bag prior to capping.
What happened
The patient had blood in their line that had tracked up into the primary line. I disconnected the primary line from the IV line and I hung the line up with the sodium bicarb bag. I went to cap the primary line and I felt a small drop go into my left eye. I finished med pass quickly then flushed my eye.
