working in triage and called to help on a delivery
What happened
Went to help on a delivery in [REDACTED] where a precipitous delivery was about to occur. MD arrived in time for delivery and RN began to break bed down for delivery. RN lifted end of the bed off for delivery and sheet was under pt. RN pulled on sheet and it would not come out from under pt. Left sheet under patient and placed end of bed on floor. RN began to feel pain in neck and radiating down right side of back near shoulder blade.
Injury or illness
Was giving report in patient room when I turned to leave the room my foot got caught in the IV pump cord that was plugged in. Landed on my Right arm. I have a skin tear on my right elbow and my right shoulder hurts quite a bit.
