Before the incident
Team Member was working at Moulder 3 and boards were getting stuck by cutter heads #1 #2 and #3 and was attempting to make an adjustment
What happened
The team member was working at Moulder 3 when boards began getting stuck at cutter heads #1 #2 and #3. He attempted to verify that the pressure wheel was functioning properly and reached toward it moving the wheel back and forth. While doing so he forgot that the bottom cutter head was still active. Although the machine was in setup mode all cutter heads were operating. As he reached in the tip of his right middle finger made contact with the first bottom cutter head resulting in a laceration to the fingertip. The employee was transported to the hospital for medical treatment.
