holding pressure after ABG stick

While using one handed scoop technique usually uses a hard surface to click the cap. Used thumb instead did not hear the click cap not totally secured. Protective cover not secured

The metal pan (Basic General Laparoscopic Instrument) fell on my right thigh just above the right knee and caused a big bruise or hematoma. I did ice the part where the metal pan fell and I was fine after icing the area. I was walking with no difficulty.
