EMPLOYEE WAS ABOUT TO MOVE PATIENT TO SURGICAL TABLE WITH ASSISTANCE.

DURING MOVEMENT OF PATIENT UNDER ANESTHESIA OVER TO SURGICAL TABLE ONE OF THE NERVE MONITORING NEEDLES CAME OUT OF THE PATIENT AND PUNCTURED SKIN OF THE HAND OF ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES MOVING THE PATIENT.
Injury or illness
Tube feeding paused and patient laid supine in Trendelenburg position. Patient pulled up in bed and very slightly to right side of bed to reposition. When done so stabbing pain noted to lower back in L5-S1 sacral region.
