I was putting the butterfly needle in the sharp 's container it did not go all the way so I pushed it down not realizing when I pushed the needle after sticking the patient it did not slide all the way up the prevent the needle from showing. The needle snagged my glove. I took the glove off and notice it punctured my skin. It wasn 't deep but it 's something I needed to report.
