Before the incident
Two employees were attempting to start an overhead pneumatic rock drill hole w a 30lb rock drill.
What happened
The rock drill fell over while drilling and the IE attempted to keep it upright by grabbing it. The 2nd employee continued to squeeze the trigger of the rock drill. The IE grabbed the rotating rock drill bit. This action dislocated the IE 's right pinky finger.
