The Associate was rethreading label roll after it had severed and ripped
What happened
After having finished rethreading the barrel label through the barrel labeling machine after it had severed ripped the machine was restarted and barrels began traversing along the conveyor Associate was in the process of holding barrels back on the conveyor with his hand so they didn 't keep moving through the labeling machine since they had bunched up after the machine had been stopped. However as the barrels began pushing through it pushed his hand forward and it scraped along a rough edge of the labeling machine generating about a 3-inch cut below his right thumb.
