Before the incident
getting my housekeeping cart set up.
What happened
I was stocking my housekeeping closet with clean mops and I reached into the bag to grab the mops and my right hand felt like it was grazed with something sharp. I saw that there was a needle stuck in the mop fabric. It did not seem to have poked through my skin and did not bleed. I did report this immediately to my manager and employee health. My first round of blood work has been completed.
