On [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was backing out of a trailer with the loader. As he turned his head to the left to look back his respirator filter came in contact with his left shoulder which caused the seal between his face and mask to break loose. This allowed the dust that was swirling in the air to come into contact with his left eye. He tried flushing his eye out with water but felt like some dust was still in there and it was irritating his eye. He then asked for medical attention and was sent to the ER.
