Staff needed to escort pt out of pt room so engineering could work on RM 9 's tv. EE was trying to open up the door to the [REDACTED] treatment room so Pt could go in there. EE believed that they were taking too long to unlock the [REDACTED] room door pt became impatient and began swatting at EE who blocked the swatting but in the process of blocking EE right thumb was bent backwards.
