See description

I felt an initial painful strain in my back while pulling a patient up in the bed on [REDACTED]) around [REDACTED] and the pain worsened as I continued aiding in repositioning and bathing patients throughout the shift. The pain was still dull and manageable until [REDACTED] when I came back to work and a series of back-to-back patient baths put excessive strain on my back to the point of not being able to stand up straight. I used the [REDACTED] off to rest and self-medicate but my back grew more stiff and the pain would not subside prompting me to visit the urgent care.
