Employee was servicing a customer - self contained can - employee was done servicing the customer and lowering the rails back down

Employee placed hand in between the rails and a proxy switch for a rails up alarm to remove a magnet that was on the proxy switch

The employee using his left hand to operate the rail controls lowered the rails down on to his right hand as he quickly tried to remove the magnet on the proxy switch. The rails crushed his R middle finger ring finger and pinky. The injury is from the palm down.
