Before the incident
EE was performing normal job duties consisting of checking in on each of the 10 blockers clearing minor error issues moving job trays to open blockers and ensuring that the process is still moving forward.
What happened
EE heard the alarm go off on blocker 102. EE went to the computer screen reviewed the error hit the emergency stop. Opened the side door to open the rear door and attempted to dislodge the jammed lens from the job tray. As the EE forcibly removed the lens their hand was in it 's place and the sliding platform attempted to complete its cycle pinching the injured 's hand in the machine.

The injured had their left hand sandwiched between the job tray on the sliding platform and the side wall of the machine. It was a caught-in hazard.
