What happened
Patient presents to urgent care with grandmother after examination by PA strep test was ordered. I entered exam room 6 with a strep swab and patient instantly realized I was there to swab him and became visibly upset. He covered his mouth and hid his face in his arms while grunting. Grandmother moved him from the exam bed to her lap in the chair. I was able to obtain the swab without problems.
