What happened
While removing butterfly needle from patient doing blood draw patient invertedly swung her arm causing me to push the needle into my right inner wrist. I immediately pushed the blood from the stick sight while scrubbing the infected area. The primary nurse was in the room as well and the charge nurse was notified.
