I was trying to administer albuterol to a patient.

The patient already had the pulse ox on his foot. He was kicking and moving towards opposite side of the bed to where the monitor is. From the patient moving it moved the pulse ox cord behind me and was taught I turned around to get help from a coworker with administering the medication and I fell over the pulse ox cord.

My toe next to my big toe is tender (right foot) along with the right side of the same foot.

Pulse oximetry cord

R 5th toe fracture - tripped over pulse ox cord
