Engineering workshop starting the duty.

The Thompson Seattle housekeeping manager reported there is smoke smell from AC indoor unit in room [REDACTED] at [REDACTED] on [REDACTED] to engineering team and the director of engineering as well as engineer 3 did go to the room immediately to assess the situation since it was an emergency engineering work request. Upon arrival they identified refrigerant leak from AC indoor units ' evaporative coil and isolated the AC unit by shutting OFF the valves above ceiling in room [REDACTED]. During this time the refrigerant was present in the room due to the leak and both coworker and EE were inside the room to perform this task. EE mentioned about slight breathing difficulty after this incident and then he was feeling normal by end of day.
