Before the incident
Manual hoist chain to remove disk from the oven
What happened
While using the manual hoist chain to remove the stage 1 disk from the oven the synchronized out-of-service hoist chain got entangled behind the oven door was dragged over it and struck the employee on the back of the head. Employee was driven to Concentra who referred him to a list of hospitals for a CT scan. Employee was driven to the hospital where the CT scan was completed. There were no findings from the CT scan and the Doctor told the employee to take 1 day off from work. Employee returned to Concentra for a follow up the next day and they were diagnosed with a concussion. Employee returned to work with restrictions. [REDACTED] returned to full duty.
