Cutting zip tie from the silicone barrel bag

What happened

The employee was doing a silicon barrel change at the offload of line 2 and while opening the barrel he had to cut a zip tie closing the plastic in the barrel He was cutting the zip tie with a razor blade towards his hand when the blade slipped and cut his right thumb The EE was only wearing nitrile gloves and not cut resistant gloves The cut was deep and there were efforts to stop the bleeding by first responders The cut was still bleeding at a decent rate even after trying to treat the laceration EE was taken to an urgent care center for further evaluation and received 5 sutures
