assisting pt to stand up

[REDACTED] was sitting in chair and was being assisted to stand up for the RN [REDACTED] to check her bottom. I was helping to list patient up from one side and the nurse on the other. I was holding on to the gait belt as I tried to pull it up patient was not able to stand up or pull self up using the bars on the [REDACTED] steady machine and complained of pain on the R leg. I was also trying to support the R leg so patient cannot put much weight on it. Patient is under toe touch weight bearing precautions. We asked for additional assistance from the PCT [REDACTED] for another attempt to stand patient up.
