What happened
Employee States: The employee stated he was breaking down boxes near his team leader who was emptying the cardboard baler. He said while he was making one of the boxes flat when the edge of box came in contact with his right eye. I was told he was instructed to go to the eyewash station and then had a cold icepack placed on his eye. It is then I was called and I took him to an office where we immediately called Medcor. He complained of pain and blurred vision to his right eye. The nurse instructed he get medical care within two hours. A family member came to pick him up [REDACTED] and he went to get treatment.
