Before the incident
Employee was unloading steel column at the northern most unload table in the Upright Paint unload area.
What happened
Employee was at the north end of the column that was being stacked 8 wide by 2 high on the unload table. There was one piece of column to finish the bundle and after the hoist operator and the other unloader set the column down the column had to be rotated 180 degrees and placed in the final spot on the bundle. While setting the column the employee 's right hand middle finger got pinched between the final two pieces of column for the bundle.
