Before the incident
hooking onto steel to set truss top chord. Prior to falling rolling second top chord over. Back was turned didn 't see truss falling but heard warning shouts.
What happened
the T4 line 11 truss located on the east side of the [REDACTED] ([REDACTED]) fell onto an occupied aerial lift. Truss struck employee first followed by contact with the aerial lift basket. Impact caused the aerial lift basket to bounce propelling employee into the air. He remained connected to fall protection harness systems which retracted him back into the lift.

ankle fracture laceration to posterior aspect of the scalp laceration behind right ear an abrasion to the left leg a puncture wound to the right arm and contusions to the back.
