What happened
Associate was performing re-work tack welding alignment bars on radial leg. They had laying on bosses to make level when finished with weld they tilted leg up by hand to grab bosses from underneath. Left hand lost grip and leg fell contacting the right middle and ring fingertips. Associate was taken offsite for medical evaluation and was diagnosed with an amputation of the right middle finger distal joint.
