What happened
Employee states that around [REDACTED] he was dumping fasteners in metal bins into hopper. Throughout the course of the day he lifts between 10-15 bins to fill and or empty the machine. Based on employees comments the bins weigh between 20-30lbs depending on how much material is in them. Around [REDACTED] employee felt discomfort in the groin area but didn 't think anything of it and continued to work. After a [REDACTED] of the discomfort decided to go to the ER to get it checked out and was diagnosed with hernia in the groin.
