We were pulling up the patient 's brief shorts and he began to sit lower himself before he was in a safe position.

We were supporting the patient with the gait belt while pulling up his shorts. He seemed to be giving out and he wasn 't positioned safely to sit. In an attempt to keep him from falling and guide his body back over the toilet my left arm was pulled and my left shoulder felt as if it were yanked pretty hard. It is currently painful with limited range of motion.
