EE was retracting while a resident was suturing during the patients labial repair and while the resident was tying a knot the resident stuck the back of [REDACTED] left hand with the contaminated solid bore suture needle. EE reported the suture needle punctured her glove and the skin on the back of her left hand but the stick did not draw blood.
