What happened
While the nurse [REDACTED] and I [REDACTED] were repositioning the patient and changing the linens the patient kicked my right shoulder with his left leg and attempted to grab us with his hand. Throughout the process he repeatedly used profanities and displayed inappropriate behavior. Due to his combative and verbally abuse actions I asked his daughter who was standing behind the curtain to stepped in to assist us. The morning report [REDACTED] I received indicating that the patient was aggressive and physically striking others.
