While operating [REDACTED] the operator encountered a runner that was stuck. In an attempt to loosen it the operator raised the head. Afterward he pulled down on the sprue to remove it.

As the sprue came out oil that had accumulated in the injection chute drained through the opening and came into contact with the operator’s hands.
