During the process of unloading at [REDACTED] the receiver at [REDACTED] miscalculated the position of the forks on his forklift. This resulted in a tube that was to be delivered to [REDACTED] to “jump” over a [REDACTED] Directional tube. To help the receiver [REDACTED] climbed to the bed of his truck manually separating the tubes using only his hands. While doing so the receiver once again misjudged his positioning causing tubes to roll forward striking the tubes [REDACTED] was separating.

As the tube rolled toward him he made the attempt to move his hand however his glove became caught on a protrusion on the bed of the truck keeping his thumb in the pinch point at time of impact. After impact [REDACTED] removed his glove noting a significant cut on his left thumb

Due to the nature of the injury Saul received outpatient surgery to repair the tendon damage to his thumb.
