Attempting to remove end face tooling

While attempting to remove the end face tooling from the hydromat a maintenance technician injured his right hand. The technician had been working to free the stuck tooling by pulling on the tool which in turn came free resulting in the technicians hand unexpectedly moving forward into a drill bit not moving .
